DH and NMPA Co-organise Good
Clinical Practice (GCP) Inspection Training in Hong Kong
The Department of Health (DH) of
the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government
continues to foster professional exchanges and explore
future strategic partnerships through close
collaboration with the National Medical Products
Administration (NMPA).
As part of
these ongoing efforts, the DH cordially invited two
senior inspectors from the NMPA’s Center for Drug
Inspection (CDI) to visit Hong Kong from 20 to 23 October 2026.
The visit featured professional training
on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for inspectors of the
DH. The sessions also provided a valuable platform for
sharing the Chinese Mainland’s extensive practical
experience in GCP inspection.
Representatives
from the DH's Drug Office and the Chinese Medicine
Regulatory Office actively participated in the four-day
training program, further strengthening the regulatory
capabilities of both offices.
